The announcement follows Apple’s Surprise and Shine event. The company frames the significance as a step toward improving foldable phone durability.
Apple did not say how long the Duo’s protections will last, and the long-term durability remains to be seen. The company said it has integrated innovative protections into the Duo’s design.
